ACC Tournament: 10 players who will make an impact in Brooklyn
Florida State’s Dwayne Bacon earned second-team All-ACC honors this season. He led the Seminoles with 16.9 points and 3.8 rebounds this season.
He scored double figures in every game this season with the exception of one, against Pittsburgh.
In this game, Bacon was held scoreless. Bacon had impressive games against several ranked teams, most notably 13 points, six rebounds and five assists versus Duke in an 88-72 upset.
Bacon had 23 points against No. 23 Miami, 16 points against No. 12 Louisville, 18 points against No. 11 North Carolina, 29 points against No. 12 Virginia, 17 points against No. 21 Virginia Tech and 24 points against No. 21 Florida.
The sophomore can get a shot off against anybody. At 6-foot-7, 221-pounds, he possesses a nice combination of size, strength and speed that make him difficult to guard. This season, he took more of a leadership role for the Seminoles.
As their best leader, Bacon took Florida State to new heights.
