Jaron Blossomgame has blossomed into a heck of a player.

Coming out of high school, Blossomgame was not ranked in the top 100 for the 2012 class.

This season, Blossomgame led Clemson in minutes played (34.3) and points per game (17.3). A few days ago, the ACC announced that Blossomgame earned third-team All-ACC honors this season.

Blossomgame plays both forward positions for the Tigers. He can go inside or out, in addition to being able to take his opponents off the dribble and play with his back to the basket. He represents a matchup nightmare for any ACC team due to his versatility.

The senior had double-digit points in every game this season, except two games. Over the course of this season, Blossomgame proved time and time again that he was one of the best players in the ACC conference.

His 24 points, seven rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal helped push the No. 14 Tar Heels to overtime earlier this season. Although UNC won 89-86 in overtime, Blossomgame led a valiant Tigers’ effort towards a potential upset.

Clemson is very inconsistent.

Their inconsistency makes it difficult to prepare for them in the ACC Tournament. Clemson defeated No. 22 South Carolina 62-60 and lost by less than five points to Duke, Virginia, Syracuse, North Carolina, Florida State and Virginia Tech.

Clemson is good enough to beat any team in the ACC Tournament. This will only be possible with the help of Blossomgame leading the way.
