It’s that time of year again. Conference awards are here, tournament champs are crowned, and the NCAA tournament field is being set. With all of that, the ACC has a big decision to make; who wins the ACC Player of the Year will be?

The ACC is packed with players who are deserving of national and conference accolades, but unfortunately there can only be one conference player of the year.

Coming into the year, most everyone expected Duke junior guard, Grayson Allen to run away with the award. Up to this point, he has shown only glimpses of the player he was last year.

Other players like Jaron Blossomgame, London Perrantes and Joel Berry have had their struggles.

With those names, come names that were afterthoughts coming into the year. Names like Luke Kennard, Donovan Mitchell, and Justin Jackson.

Let’s take a look at the top five candidates for my ACC Player of the Year.
