Schedule

The Diamond Heels have what looks to be a navigable schedule this year. Carolina starts out the season at home against Kentucky this Friday.

They follow that up with the likes of Gardner Webb, Radford, and Long Beach State. They also have match ups with South Carolina, in Charlotte, and they play East Carolina at home, and on the road.

The Heels will also get the opportunity of hosting the defending national champions, the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. The Chants won the first national championship in program history last year, in Cinderella fashion.

Luckily the Heels will host rival NC State this season, at Boshamer Stadium. Other home conference series include Duke, Clemson, Miami, and Virginia.

The Heels will travel in conference play to face the likes of Florida State, Georgia Tech, Boston College, Pitt, and Virginia Tech.

This year the ACC Tournament, initially scheduled to be the Durham Bulls stadium in NC, was moved due to North Carolina’s controversial House Bill 2. The tournament will now be played in Louisville, Kentucky, at the home of the Louisville Bats.
