The North Carolina Tar Heels will have a lighter schedule in 2017. They have home games against California, Notre Dame, Western Carolina, Duke, Louisville, Miami and Virginia. They will have away games at Old Dominion, Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech and N.C. State.

UNC will lose offensive weapons in T.J. Logan, Elijah Hood, Ryan Switzer, Bug Howard and Mack Hollins.

Austin Proehl will be the lone returning receiver with considerable game experience. Thomas Jackson will be another player who should gain more playing time next season.

M.J. Stewart comes back for his senior season. All-ACC honorable mention linebacker Andre’ Smith will return as a junior leader on defense as well.

Since Trubisky made himself eligible for the NFL, the Tar Heels are in full rebuilding mode. The offense will feature new faces across the board on offense.

With their 2017 schedule, expect the Tar Heels to win between five to seven games.
