The 2015 UNC football season was a successful one for the Tar Heels.

They finished 11-3 on the season with their final two losses consisting of the ACC Championship against Clemson (45-37) and the Russell Athletic Bowl game against Baylor (49-38).

In 2015, UNC had 13 all-ACC players along with three ACC honorable mentions. Two players (Elijah Hood, Landon Turner) were first-team all-ACC.

Entering the 2016 season, there were high expectations for the Tar Heels. The 2016 college football season is over for the North Carolina Tar Heels. There were some surprises, some exciting moments and some disappointments.
