UNC one of three schools working hardest for 2018 PF Silvio De Sousa

Silvio De Sousa is a 6-foot-9, 220-pound prospect from the class of 2018 who moved from Angola to the United States just last year.

The consensus five-star power forward is as physically imposing of a player as you will find in the 2018 class and he is being recruited by a number of college basketball’s heavy hitters.

He already has offers from Florida, Louisville, LSU and Maryland and the list of teams pursuing him will only grow in the coming months.

De Sousa recently said that the three schools recruiting him the hardest are Louisville, Maryland and North Carolina.

Having missed on several elite big men in the class of 2017, UNC is desperate to snag a couple of five-star post players in the next couple recruiting cycles.
