Four-star defensive tackle commits to UNC

2017 four-star prospect Xach Gill committed to the University of North Carolina on Monday afternoon. He made the announcement in front of friends, family and coaches at Wake Forest High School in his home town of Wake Forest, North Carolina.

The 6-foot-5, 270-pound defensive tackle is the Tar Heels’ 16th commitment and sixth four-star recruit in the class of 2017.

Gill has a considerable amount of skill and a body that is ready to compete at the college level. He should see a considerable amount of playing time in his freshman season. As he progresses, his time on the field should increase exponentially

Gill also had offers from LSU, Miami, North Carolina State, Penn State, Tennessee, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest.
