Kevin Knox being recruited by…other recruits??

Class of 2017 prospect Kevin Knox is one of the few uncommitted players in his class and he’s now being recruited by his classmates.

Several names have recently come off the board, a number of which committed to Duke and Kentucky.

Wendell Carter and Gary Trent Jr. both committed to Duke in November while P.J. Washington, Quade Green, Nick Richards and Shai Alexander all committed to Kentucky.

“Both Wendell and Gary at Duke have been hitting me up a lot,” Knox told USA Today. “Quade, P.J. and Nick have been hitting me too wanting me to team-up with them. I just came back from FSU last weekend and so, of course, I got the speech about what playing there would be like. Then North Carolina fans are crazy about me so they’re constantly hitting me up, so I get a lot of contact from people from each school.”

A number of schools offered a scholarship to the talented small forward but his finalists consist of just four; Duke, Florida State, Kentucky and North Carolina.

The 6-foot-8, 205-pound five-star player would be a great addition to any of the four teams on his list, but he’d obviously see the most playing time at Florida State and North Carolina.

That rationale hasn’t seemed to affect many recruits over the last handful of years, though, as Duke and Kentucky continue to reign supreme on the recruiting circuit.
