Radford: F Ed Polite Jr

The sophomore forward leads the team in minutes, rebounds, and steals. He is also second on the team in blocks and points per game. Polite Jr is the Highlanders rebounding. He is currently averaging 9.7 per game. The next two closest guys to him are averaging 8.8 combined. Polite Jr will have his hands full though trying to keep the Carolina Bigs off the glass.

North Carolina: F Justin Jackson

Though not always the leading scorer, Jackson has been the most consistent scorer for the Tar Heels. Joel Berry II may be the early headliner and Meeks may be getting a lot of praise, but Jackson is the only Carolina player to score in double digits in all eight games this season.

The Junior guard currently leads the team in points and minutes. Against the Hoosiers, Jackson went 4-7 from three while scoring 21 points and grabbing eight rebounds to keep the Heels within striking distance. His star potential is key to UNC’s run to Phoenix this season
