Pickup games on the campus of the University of North Carolina is something you need to be a part of at least once. The only problem is that these games are usually kept secret as players of the basketball team randomly show up at courts around campus.

Over the years, players just show up to pickup games and join in. If you’re lucky enough, you can find yourself playing against a member of the Tar Heels or even with one.

The best advice I can give for those looking to participate is to just play basketball as much as possible outdoors with your buddies. Twitter is also your best friend.
