Watch a game at Spanky’s Restaurant & Bar on Franklin Street
We have decided to stay closed for dinner tonight and planning on re-opening tomorrow at noon! #Chapelhill #snowday pic.twitter.com/QbRlSWHPQk

Watching a game at this popular Chapel Hill bar is a must for any UNC fan. Depending on the relevancy of the game, arrive early and be prepared to stand…for the whole game.
Many who spent the 2009 NCAA Championship game at Spanky’s stood in line for several hours before the restaurant opened. Even still, most didn’t get a place to sit. Few cared though. The environment and atmosphere are second to none and the food and drinks are top notch.
It didn’t hurt that the Tar Heels won the game, either. They handily beat the Michigan State Spartans to win their fifth NCAA Tournament championship.
