True fans will do this to every game. Rain or shine, hot or cold. I have only done it once and I did it because of a bet I made with myself.
At UNC it is almost impossible to get UNC/Duke tickets before your Senior year. I said if I ever get tickets I would paint my face blue and white, something I have never done.
Well, my sophomore year just happened to be the 8-20 season. That means normal ticket holders didn’t want their tickets and I got a pair.
My younger brother came up and true to my word I painted my face blue and white. My little brother, who is now a Duke fan, went full body. We went wild and crazy amongst the wine and cheese crowd and made it on TV. Sometimes it pays to be a little crazy.
