Reason No. 3 – Elijah Hood will be difficult to stop in 2016

Hood is the focal point of Carolina’s offense.

In 2015, Elijah Hood finished his sophomore season with 218 carries for 1,463 yards and 17 touchdowns with an average of 6.7 yards per carry. Hood shared running duties with two other players (Marquise Williams, T.J. Logan) who averaged six yards per carry last season.

With Williams gone, Hood will shoulder more of the running load this season. Hood can handle it and should net more than 2,000 yards this season.

Hood’s rushing will open up Carolina’s offense. With Mack Hollins and Ryan Switzer as premiere wideout targets, any defense who encounters Carolina’s offense will not know what to do. No one can be double-teamed in this offense.

With Hood being the heart and soul of Carolina’s offense, he will lead Carolina to glory this season. He will not slow down this season.
