Can UNC somehow win the national championship?

The North Carolina Tar Heels are ranked 20th in the NCAA preseason rankings. Let’s be honest: the Tar Heels are not favored to become the national champions.

This is one perspective, though.

North Carolina, like most teams, is poised to make a run at a national championship with this year’s roster. Some people may think North Carolina winning the NCAA national championship in football is impossible.

Last season, the Tar Heels were a-bad-call-on-an-onside-kick away from possibly making the College Football Playoff.
