team. 43.
June Stats: 6.1 IP, 4ER, 2 SO, 1 HLD, 0-0 record with a 5.68 ERA

July Stats: 11.1 IP, 10 ER, 10 SO, 1 HLD, 0-1 record with a 7.94 ERA

At first glance it would appear that Warren had a bad July. However that is a little misleading as his month was ballooned by one 7 run outing against Pittsburgh. Take that out and Warren actually had a really good July.

July also saw Warren get his first career start, a no decision loss to the Cincinnati Reds. In that start Warren allowed three hits and one earned runs in five innings pitched. He also struck out six.

Warren was later traded to the Yankees as part of the Aroldis Chapman trade. Since joining the Yankees, Warren has pitched two innings allowing zero earned runs with a strikeout.
. . . Adam Warren. RP

Well that does it for July. However a disappointing trend continues. The number of Heels in the pros has dropped from ten to nine to now just five.

With Harvey’s surgery and Iannetta’s progressing demotion, the number could be even smaller in August. Thankfully September brings call ups, so there is always hope in the end.
