Maui Invitational Appearances: This will be the Hoyas third appearance (First since 2011).

Last Season: They went 15-18. They lost in their last game of the season 81-67 to Villanova in the quarterfinals of the Big East tournament.

Georgetown is 3-3 overall in the Maui Invitational. This will also be their second time playing in the same field as UNC. In 1999, they lost to the Heels 85-79.

Georgetown Hoyas

Head Coach: John Thompson III. 264-133 entering his 13th season as Head Coach of Georgetown (he is 332-175 overall). This is Thompson’s second Head Coaching position.
