Ryan Switzer

Position: Wide Receiver

Number: 3

Class: Senior

Height: 5’10”

Weight: 185lbs

Hometown: Charleston, West Virginia

Awards/Stats:

  • 2015 First-Team All-American (AFCA)
  • 2015 All-ACC First Team Specialist (Coaches)
  • 2015 All-ACC Third Team Wide Receiver (ACSMA & Coaches)
  • 55 Receptions, 697 Yards, 6 Receiving TDs, 2 Punt Return TDs

2015 Recap: In 2015 Ryan Switzer developed as a receiver and also added more Punt Return Touchdowns to his collection. He is officially one punt return touchdown away from tying the collegiate record held by Wes Welker & Antonio Perkins. In 2016 look for Switzer to be a vital part of the Heels offense and special teams unit. Switzer needs 2 PR TDs in order to break the record and I think with the possibility of playing 13 or 14 more games he has the chance. Look for Switzer to continue his special team success as well as become even more of a threat on offense.
