2015 Recap: In 2015 the beast was unleashed. Elijah Hood had the second-best rushing season in Tar Heel history. With a similar performance this year & next (if he stays) he will be on pace to break the record for career rushing yards for the Tar Heels.

Hood was a big part of the Tar Heel’s success and provides them the ability to spread the ball around. In 2016, look for Hood to get more touches earlier in the season and possibly even break the single season record for rushing yards for the Heels. Elijah Hood will be a big part of the Tar Heels success early in the season, and should be considered a dark horse Heisman candidate.
