Analysis

Game Time: TBA

Date: Saturday – October, 15th

Location: Away

In an early season battle for the Coastal Division, UNC looks to continue where it left off last year, winning big. In a game where UNC racked up almost 300 yards rushing and 200 yards passing, the Tar Heel defense was the biggest difference, forcing 3 Miami turnovers.

Last year’s game was essentially over by halftime (31-0), so you know that Miami will be looking for revenge. With three big ACC games early in the season, this is a must-win game for the Tar Heels.

In order for UNC to have any shot at the CFP, they must prove to the world that they deserve to be in the conversation. An outstanding defensive game against Brad Kaaya, who many consider to be a top 10 NFL draft pick, will significantly increase UNC’s chance at a repeat in the Coastal Division.

UNC will be traveling to Miami and it is safe to say we won’t be seeing any banners flying over the stadium this year. Miami will be rejuvenated and ready to bring back “The U”, but U N C will look to spoil their attempts.

Although Miami will be looking to show the world that football is back for “The U”,  UNC will simply be too much for Miami to handle.
