North Carolina fans are sadly forced to say goodbye to the graduating senior who now looks to further his basketball career in the NBA.

Projected anywhere from low lottery pick to bottom of the first round, Johnson is nearly guaranteed to get drafted and see his basketball career continue as a professional.

Undersized for his position, he will have to continue to work hard to perfect his game and develop a deeper shot. With more distance and versatility in his game, he can be a very effective player in the NBA for a long time.

As one of the most accomplished big men in Carolina history, UNC fans will remember him fondly. We’ll also be reminded of him every time we look up to the rafters of the Smith Center.

He came in as a young kid with a lot of talent, but little discipline.

He leaves as one of the most beloved Tar Heels in the history of the program.
