CONSIDERING: Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Villanova and more.

The word “upside” fits no player in the class of 2017 quite as much as it does Mohamed Bamba.

This high school junior is 6-11 with a wingspan of 7’8”. Although his game is raw and unpolished, Bamba has shown scouts considerable skill over the last year. His greatest asset is his natural ability to block and affect shots, particularly on the low blocks. He can hit a face-up jumper, but the true strength of his offensive game is throwing down a dunk or put backs from offensive rebounds.

If he can add some weight to his slender, wiry frame it will only improve his ability to score in the low post and dominate on the defensive end.
