The 2016 recruiting period saw Roy Williams and the North Carolina Tar Heels snag three top-60 recruits, headlined by five-star center, Tony Bradley.

They also signed one of the most athletic players in the country in combo guard Seventh Woods. The 2016 class is rounded out by Brandon Robinson, a gifted shooter who is going to provide the Tar Heels with some much-needed perimeter shooting and depth in the back court.

Between graduating seniors and potential early departures to the NBA, the Tar Heels are likely to have a lot of holes on their 2017 roster. Roy Williams has been working hard on the recruiting trail to fill those needs, but there’s a lot of work left to be done.

Given the recent positive information, and confirmation, that the UNC basketball program hasn’t been implicated in the newest Notice of Allegations received by the University, it might be a bit easier for Williams to get top-end talent to come back to Chapel Hill.

Here’s a look at some players from the Class of 2017 that UNC fans may want to get acquainted with.
