In the last five drafts and average of 31.4 WRs are drafted each year. Davis currently ranks as the 61st best WR in the draft.

Davis is the all time leading receiver in Tar Heel history. He is tall and goes after the ball. However his speed is not great for a NFL receiver. He also didn’t break 100 yards receiving once last season. Best case scenario is a seventh round flier. Most likely he ends up on some teams practice squad. If he adds a little more muscle I think Davis could succeed as a tight end in the NFL where his flat out speed would not be as big as an issue.
