Raymond Felton has had a roller coaster for an NBA career. He was drafted by the Charlotte Bobcats (now the Charlotte Hornets). Then he played for the New York Knicks. The Knicks traded him to the Nuggets, prior to his trade to Portland. Felton has rebounded with his new home in Dallas.

After coming off the bench for several teams, Felton has worked his way back into the starting lineup as a Dallas Maverick.

In fact, Felton starts at the shooting guard position. He plays in the backcourt along with Deron Williams. Williams played for the 2005 Illinois Fighting Illini team that lost to the Tar Heels in the 2005 national championship game.

In game two in the opening round of the 2016 NBA Playoffs, Felton played very well. He scored 21 points during an 85-84 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday. Felton grabbed 11 rebounds, dished three assists, had one steal and made one three-pointer in 42 minutes.

In game three, Felton switched back to his natural point guard position due to Deron Williams not playing due to injury. OKC beat Dallas 131-102. Felton finished the game with 18 points, four steals, four assists and three rebounds.
