April 5, 2005 was Sean May’s 21st birthday and the same day that the North Carolina defeated Illinois, 75-70 for the national championship.

May had one of the most dominating performances ever. He made 10 of his 11 field goals and six of his eight free throws for a total of 26 points. He also grabbed 10 rebounds, including two offensive rebounds and eight defensive rebounds.

Currently, May works on North Carolina’s coaching staff as the basketball program’s Director of Player Development.
