1993 Michigan Wolverines

The Michigan Wolverines lost to the UNC Tar Heels in the 1993 national championship, 77-71. They were led by the infamous “Fab Five,” which consisted of Jalen Rose, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King, Ray Jackson and Chris Webber.

1981 Indiana Hoosiers

The Indiana Hoosiers defeated the North Carolina Tar Heels, 63-50 in the national championship. Indiana was led by Isiah Thomas (1981 Most Outstanding Player), Ray Tolbert (1981 Big Ten Player of the Year), Glen Grunwald and Randy Wittman. Indiana finished the season with a 26-9 record.

Led by Naismith and Wooden Player of the Year Antawn Jamison, the Carolina team was picked by many people to win the national championship. North Carolina was the overall No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Utah was led by Andre Miller and Michael Doleac. Utah lost to Kentucky 78-69 in the title game.
