In their last meeting North Carolina got Zack Auguste into foul trouble, limiting him to just 27 minutes and three-of-six shooting. He finished with six points and 10 rebounds, virtually a non-factor in the UNC route of Notre Dame.

The Tar Heels depth allowed them to keep throwing big bodies at Auguste and they were able to effectively limit his low-post play-making abilities.

For Notre Dame to compete in this game, they’ll need major contributions from Auguste and will not be able to withstand another poor game from their front court. The Tar Heels simply have too much size and depth down low and Notre Dame will have to avoid foul trouble and play productively to keep this game close.

Advantage: North Carolina
