Don’t ask me why I like Bucky so much. Maybe it’s because his cartoon version remind me a lot of classic Ramses. Whatever it is Bucky deserves top two billing. It also doesn’t hurt that his team wins in football and basketball and that the Badger is a nickname that is not commonly used and is indigenous to the state of Wisconsin. Bucky also resides in the mascot Hall of fame. No other mascot in this region can say that.

1. Ramses (North Carolina)

Did you really expect any one else? Not only is he my profile pic here at KIH, he is the coolest of the bunch. His white fur perfectly blends with the Carolina blue uniform. Named after Jack “Battering Ram” Merritt, Ramses is liked all over the country. Though he may not be the only ram mascot, he is the first thing people think of when they think Tar Heel, which is impressive considering the name is not a type of ram. Number one in the region, number one with the fans, and hopefully number one at the end of the tournament season.
