Denzel Valentine looks to be the front-runner for National Player of the Year honors and deservedly so. Tom Izzo’s senior guard has done it all this year.

Triple-doubles. Game winning shots. Valentine has been the leader of a team seemingly built for a deep run in March. And with Izzo at the helm, why shouldn’t they end up in Houston? After all, Izzo has done more with less talent.

As it stands, Valentine and company have more than enough talent, and heart, to lead the Spartans to their eighth Final Four in the last 17 years.
