Tyler Ulis has been the most dominant point guard in college basketball this year. His play has propelled the Kentucky Wildcats from what many thought would be a mediocre season into a very solid 26-win campaign.

Ulis has shot well, distributed well and been the centerpiece for a team that landed in the East Region as a 4-seed. They have a likely second-round matchup with 5-seed Indiana. If they get past the Hoosiers, a date with the Tar Heels is their likely reward.

While I don’t expect the Wildcats to beat the Tar Heels, they do have the ability to pull the upset. With Ulis leading the way, Jamal Murray’s scoring prowess and the slowly developing, oft-criticized Skal Labissiere beginning to emerge, it’s not a team that 1-seeds want to see in the Sweet 16.
