Tyler Smith is a quick, shifty, elusive player who can be used all over the field. It’s more likely that he will be used as a slot receiver or an “x-factor” rather than a traditional wide receiver. He can run routes, but his size can make things difficult in the traditional role of wide receiver. He reminds me of Dexter McCluster or De’Anthony Thomas in the way that he plays and the way that UNC coaches are likely to use him.
