Rechon Black (#44, 247Sports)
6-6, 175 – Combo Guard
Concord, NC
Concord High School

Rechon Black has great size and length with his slender 6-6 frame, but still has all the tools to be a college point guard. Only a sophomore, Black is already an extremely gifted ball-handler and passer. Black’s height and 6-9 wingspan help create mismatches against smaller guards and give him the ability to rebound and block shots that other guards would not. Black should be very effective in Roy Williams’ fast pace up-tempo offense. He does need to continue to work on his outside shooting and added size to his thin frame would help him at the college level.
