Harry Giles
Harry Giles is the best high school senior in the country according to many recruiting services, including ESPN. Giles plays power forward and would slot in well next to Tony Bradley in the Tar Heel frontcourt.
Giles is an athletic power forward who really can do it all, even in the early stages of his development as a basketball player. Watching his highlights, you see an elite athlete, a great finisher and a dominate rim-protector.
Just imagine what would happen for Giles if he got on campus and Roy Williams was able to work with him and develop him even more.
The 247 Crystal Ball predictions for Harry Giles have him going to Duke, but I wouldn’t count Carolina out just yet in this recruiting battle. Wake Forest and Kansas are the two other programs that figure to be in contention for the power forward from Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Harry Giles would fit in great at any college program, but he would fit in especially well at UNC playing alongside Carolina’s deep returning roster and with Brandon Robinson and Tony Bradley.
