What Carolina football game are you most looking forward to this season?

David Staley: As with most any season, I’d have to say the first game of the year. It’s been a solid three months since the last time there was a Carolina athletic event I cared about being played, and I’m generously including baseball to shorten that time span. Basketball season ended five months ago, and there has basically been nothing to watch since then. Add in the fact that the season opener is against Visor Boy and his Gamecocks and that the football schedule this season is pretty weak, and it makes this an easy decision.

Jackson Hicks: I’m most looking forward to Georgia Tech. That will be the game where we see how the defense will be this season. The games before then (with the exception of S. Carolina) are against weak opponents. And since UNC plays the Gamecocks in the first week, I wouldn’t put too much stock in a sub-par performance.

Zack Pearson: I really want to say the South Carolina game because it’s kickoff, but I’m really looking forward to the NC State game. Last season I felt as if UNC could have beat the Wolfpack and now I want them out there for revenge.

Brandon Griffin: The South Carolina Game. It is the first game of the season, so always pumped after 9ish months of no football. Also it is one of the biggest games on UNC’s schedule and will go a long way to show whether this season will be as special as a lot of us are hoping it will be.

Ben Coley: N.C. State, Nov. 28. The team must bounce back from their lackluster performance against the Wolfpack last season. The Tar Heels don’t want N.C. State to begin another streak.

Leonard Meade: The season opener vs South Carolina because it will tell how good or not the 2015 Tar Heels are.

Simeon Jackson: GT. They’re always underrated and now that I live in Atl, I can maybe get tickets.

Matthew Haley: I am looking forward to Thursday’s game versus South Carolina for many reasons however the game I have circled is in Raleigh against NC State. Last seasons performance was embarrassing on numerous levels and I cannot see Marquise Williams performing as poorly as he did in the last match up.

John Bauman: Georgia Tech in Atlanta. This game will have huge implications on the ACC Coastal Division race, and I’m super excited to see how the game plays out. If it is anything like last year’s crazy win for the Tar Heels in Kenan, fans watching will be in for a treat.
