It seems like every time Duke and UNC play, it is a Top-10 or a Top-25 matchup. On Wednesday night, it will be 15th ranked North Carolina against the 4th ranked Blue Devils. Next time, it might be 8th ranked Duke against 5th ranked UNC. Whatever it is, every time this teams play, it is a must see matchup.
Every game also seems to big implications on the ACC Regular Season title. This game matters every. single. time. Unlike some of the NBA rivalries, every time UNC and Duke play, it matters to the teams and fanbases. You might think Lakers vs. Celtics makes a great rivalry, but how many people really care enough about a regular season matchup between these two teams on February 22nd to camp out for months for tickets?
