Charlie Heck
The 6’7″, 255 pound athlete from Kansas City, Missouri is quite the physical specimen. For his high school, he played a variety of positions including tight end, offensive tackle, and defensive end. He is the brother of UNC offensive lineman John Heck.
Charlie Heck’s versatility is what can differentiate him from the rest of the pack. He is a strong, intelligent blocker, and is also quick and coordinated enough to make catches downfield.
While it is unlikely he will get any time at the tight end position for the Tar Heels, look for Heck to eventually become a reliable offensive tool for Fedora to have in his arsenal.
