UNC Class Rankings
As the Class of 2015 winds down, there are several recruiting sites putting out rankings that get updated each week. With the announcement of decisions, flips and rumors, the rankings get updated accordingly.
Here’s how UNC ranks from different sites.
ESPN
With 21 recruits signed, the Tar Heels have earned a No. 22 ranking according to ESPN’s updated Football Class Rankings list. The list was updated for February with all the latest action that has taken place in the past few days.
UNC was ranked No. 22 in the Jan. 28 ranking, which was down 1 spot from the Jan 21 updated rankings. The Heels have hovered around No.22 for the past several weeks. They are also the fourth rated ACC team on the list behind No. 2 Florida State and No. 3 Clemson.
Rivals
Yahoo! Sports Rivals rankings has UNC at a similar spot as ESPN. The Rivals rankings have the Tar Heels at No. 23 on the list, which was also recently updated.
The list has the Tar Heels at 1782 points on their ranking system, just 23 points behind No. 22 Arkansas. The list also has ACC foes Clemson (No. 3), Florida State (No. 4) and Virginia Tech (No. 21) ahead of the Heels. Rivals has UNC down for six 4-star recruits.
24/7 Sports
Following suite with ESPN and Rivals, 24/7 sports also has the Tar Heels in the early 20’s. In its updated rankings, the Tar Heels come in at No.23 which is up two spots from the previous rankings. The list has the Heels at 216.78 points with four 4-star recruits listed.
