2.  Tim Scott’s interception to win the San Diego State game

Background: This was the second game of the season for the Tar Heels, and came at a point where there was still a lot of hope for the season.  Playing in front of a great crowd, the Heels came out flat and were in danger of losing the game.  SDSU had the ball at the UNC 3 yard line with 19 seconds left and a chance to win the game.  Enter Tim Scott:

Greatness Score: 9/10

This play was so great not only because it won the game for the Heels but it also had an incredibly high degree of difficulty.  Not only did Scott have to lay out to make the catch, but he also managed to get his feet down in bounds.  It was a great finish for the Heels, and made up for a lot of mistakes that had occurred earlier in the game.
