6. Antawn Jamison
From the moment Antawn stepped on the court as a Tar Heel, it was clear that this guy was something special. Jamison emerged as his squads go to guy as a freshman, averaging an impressive 15.1 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. As a super soph, he became a bonified star and lead UNC to the Final Four.
Antawn came back even stronger as a junior, averaging 22.2 points and 10.5 rebounds per game, winning both the ACC and National Player of the Year. He also once again led the Tar Heels to the Final Four. In three years at UNC, Antawn put 19 points and 9.9 boards per game, he was an All-American in 1997 and 1998 and simply one of the greatest low post players that Carolina or college basketball fans has ever seen.
