3. Pete Brennan (1956-58)

Brennan had a very successful career at Carolina, averaging a double-double with over sixteen points and ten rebounds per game.  He was a consensus all-American his final season in Chapel Hill, when he averaged over 20 points and 12 rebounds a game.  He has fairly comparable stats to J.R Reid, but is ranked higher because of his important role on one of the best UNC basketball teams ever.  In 1956-57, the Heels went 32-0 and won the National Championship.  This is the only Carolina team that has ever gone undefeated, and Brennan averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Heels.
