4. Antawn Jamison (1995-1998)

Jamison starred in Chapel Hill for three years, leading the Heels to two Final Four appearances.  He nearly averaged a double-double, as he accounted for 19 points and 9.9 rebounds at North Carolina.  He led the team in points and rebounds in his sophomore and junior seasons, an impressive feat considering that he played on teams alongside Shammond Williams, Vince Carter and Ed Cota.  Jamison was recognized for his stellar junior season, in which he averaged 22.2 points and 10.5 rebounds with the Wooden Award for the nation’s best player.  He is one of just eight Tar Heel players to have their jersey retired.
