As if you expected anyone else.  Coming into this article, I almost didn’t want to pick Jordan as the best shooting guard in UNC history because he is the obvious choice.  But his career at Carolina was just too good.

Jordan averaged 17.7 points per game, shot 54% from the field and was a star for three years at Carolina.  He won a national championship his freshman year, hitting the game winning shot with 15 seconds remaining, and was a first team all-American his sophomore and junior seasons.  Jordan also won the Wooden Award as the best college basketball player in the country in his final year, before being drafted third overall in the NBA draft.
