5. Shammond Williams, 1994-98

Williams was one of the greatest shooters in Carolina history.  Playing both point guard and shooting guard, Williams shot 52% from the field, including 40% from 3-point range.  He also had a career free-throw shooting percentage of 85%, and shot a ridiculous 91% from the stripe his senior season.  Williams is the career and single-season record holder for free-throw percentage for those marks.  He also is tied for the school record for three pointers made in a game, with 8.

However, Williams was not a prolific scorer, averaging only about 11 points per game, and never earned any all-American honors while at UNC.
