Shane Carden and Deshaun Watson are really good quarterbacks
Carden and Watson are the two best quarterbacks that UNC will face this season. Yes, Anthony Boone of Duke is good, but he doesn’t have the arm and accuracy on the deep ball that Watson does. And Everett Golson doesn’t have the same explosiveness that Watson does with both his arm and his legs. Watson is just a freshman, but he looked like a seasoned veteran on Saturday night. He torched the North Carolina secondary for six touchdowns and 435 yards. He did get some yardage from breakdowns like this…
However, Watson also had some real dimes coming from his rocket arm. That kid can throw, and he is going to be really good for Clemson down the road. Carden was equally impressive. He made some perfect throws, beating solid UNC coverage. Both Carden and Watson are two of the best quarterbacks that UNC will face. The Tar Heels get a break from tough to beat quarterbacks when they face Michael Brewer this upcoming weekend.
