3.  Larry Fedora will break out two new alternate uniforms

The last several years, UNC has taken a page out of Oregon’s book and worn several alternate uniforms for important games.  These uniforms are not only great for recruiting but can also help energize the players for big games.  Like a couple years ago when UNC knocked off NC State wearing alternate uniforms.

I don’t think that this year will be any different for the Heels.  I’d be surprised if they didn’t wear an alternate uniform for the Thursday night game at Duke and then I think they also will have a different look when they play NC State at home.  This is in addition to their “stripe out” uniforms they will wear for their second game of the year against San Diego State.

I don’t know what specifically Nike and Fedora have up their sleeve this season.  But if the last two years are any indication, the alternate uniforms in 2014-15 will look very nice.
