J.P. Tokoto has flashed glimpses of his potential in his first two years at Carolina. In his senior season, with a reliable jump shot, can you imagine how good he would be? Tokoto will start on the wing for the 2015-16 team, but his lack of a jump shot could clog up the paint for the two post-up heavy big men in Brice Johnson and Kennedy Meeks.
If that becomes too big a problem, insert the shooter and athlete Theo Pinson. He should have a great freshman year in the 2014-15 season coming off the bench and will play a bigger role in his sophomore season. Pinson vs. Tokoto is the closest of all the position battles.
