5. UNC takes down Kentucky at home

After taking a year off, the Kentucky Wildcats and North Carolina Tar Heels renewed their rivalry at Chapel Hill. The Wildcats came into the game ranked #11 in the country. Meanwhile, the Tar Heels came in with a two game win streak that included a win at #1 Michigan State.

The game was a back and forth battle and the Dean Dome was electric. The atmosphere was everything you expected with two teams like this going at it.

In the end the Tar Heels came out victorious led by Marcus Paige who scored 21 of his 23 points in the second half. “Second half Paige” was officially born in Chapel Hill.
