Hurricanes wear down Tar Heels
Once again North Carolina found itself in a dogfight Thursday evening in its second ACC regular season game against Miami, but once again UNC faltered down the stretch, allowing the Hurricanes to take control on its way to a 68-59 victory that drops the Tar Heels to 0-2 in ACC play. “Needless to say, it’s not a very good feeling right now,” said UNC head coach Roy Williams. Hurricanes Knock Off Tar Heels in Chapel Hill, 68-59
Kenny Kadji scored 18 points and Miami pulled away to beat North Carolina 68-59 on Thursday night. Julian Gamble had 14 points and Durand Scott and Shane Larkin each had 11 for the Hurricanes. Miami won its third straight, claimed its first 2-0 start to ACC play since joining the conference in 2003-04 and beat North Carolina for just the third time and first since 2006. (GoHeels.com)
