If you haven’t heard by now,  the Maui Invitational brackets have been released.

Preseason Tournament Basketball is the best part of the non-conference season. Outside of things like the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, this is most people’s chance to see quality teams play other quality teams. That always makes for a better product and helps to quickly determine who the real contenders in the country are.

So what do we need to know about the Maui Invitational? Great question. Luckily for you, the KIH rankings guru is here to help you through it. So just back and relax as we go on a virtual Hawaiian tour, which is the only kind the resident rankings guru can afford.

Just so you know, this year’s field includes four tournament teams. Two of those teams were one seeds in the 2016 NCAA Tournament. So let’s get started with the team most likely to finish 0-3, as only one team can.
